We are hiring an Installer Program Manager to join our team! The Manager will develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive program to attract and engage hundreds of qualified electrical contracting partners across the United States. The program will involve the sourcing and qualification of mission-aligned electrical contractors to fulfill residential and commercial electrification projects. This role is critical to support our customers with a robust, skilled, and qualified network of contractors capable of delivering high-quality services. It is also critical to ensuring a delightful experience for our installation partners as valued extensions of the Treehouse team.

This role involves working cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales Operations, Customer Experience, and Installation Operations to enhance our service to customers and installers alike, driving their mutual engagement and satisfaction across the lifecycle of their projects. As the voice of the installer, the Manager will advocate for the installer's perspective and ensure that their feedback drives company initiatives.

The Installer Program Manager will:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive program to identify, evaluate, and onboard a national network of electrical contractors, with a focus on developing successful long-term relationships.
  • Define program goals, metrics, and success criteria, aligning with and advancing the company’s overall strategy.
  • Understand and optimize the contractor journey to identify critical touchpoints, engagement strategies, and opportunities for improvement. Work with internal stakeholders to improve the overall contractor experience and satisfaction from initial job assignment through to post-installation coordination and support.
  • Establish "Voice of the Contractor" processes and act as the primary advocate for contractors across the organization, ensuring their needs, preferences, and feedback are central to internal decision-making.
  • Gather, analyze, and act on contractor feedback through surveys, reviews, and direct interactions to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Use a data-driven approach to present findings and actions to internal stakeholders. 
  • Elevate complex installation issues, change orders, and escalations to the appropriate colleagues, working cross-functionally to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction while keeping the contractor's perspective at the forefront.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to contractor experience, ensuring they reflect the true voice of the customer and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Sales, Field Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure that contractor insights are integrated into product development, service delivery, and overall business strategy.
  • Oversee the ongoing training and certification of contractors in new and emerging hardware, safety expectations, and installation procedures to ensure alignment to Treehouse's quality expectations and fulfillment of partner requirements.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills of Installation Program Associates, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver high-quality service.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Four or more years of experience in program management, preferably within the residential construction industry.
  • Proven leadership, team management, and strategy development capabilities.
  • Experience working with a customer relationship management (CRM) tool and related software/platforms.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on interpersonal communication and collaboration.
  • Comfort with independence, a bias for action, learning quickly, context-switching, and frequent iteration. Ability to make decisions in the absence of perfect information. 
  • Experience deploying systems and software to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, bringing together multiple teams to drive towards a common goal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-past, early-stage company environment.
  • Experience explaining and enforcing contractual terms and requirements.

Additional desired qualifications include:

  • Prior customer-facing experience in the home renovation or electrification industry.
  • Experience with project and/or program management.
  • A passion for electrification and/or energy sustainability.
